Dyer Park is one of the oldest parks in Odessa and is the most developed and heavily used parks in the system. Facilities: Community Building, Swimming Pool and Large Lion's Pavilion, Small Pavilion, outdoor basketball Court, 2 tennis Courts, Rodeo arena, two sand volleyball courts and two playground areas, Lake Venita, 1/2 mile walking trail. Lake Venita (located in Dyer Park) offers outstanding fishing. All state fishing regulation apply. The park also offers baseball & softball fields, two sand volleyball courts, two tennis courts, an outdoor basketball court, rodeo arena & the community swimming pool. There are also several play sets and our 1/2 mile walking trail, a large pavilion with a grill and electricity, a small picnic shelter and a Community Building available for your special events. Public restrooms are located on the west side of the park between the ball fields and at the Northeast walking trail entrance. The park is open from sun up to midnight and the pool hours are Monday-Saturday, from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Sunday from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. during our summer season.
